About the opportunity:
Hybrid Pathways is seeking an experienced Cyber Forensics and Investigations Program Development Consultant with excellent project management skills to support the development of a Cyber Forensics and Investigations Program Service Enablement Assessment. This is a 3-month remote project.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery interviews with SMEs
- Create baseline job and service catalog for investigations support including key process requirements
- Develop findings and recommendations based on current state assessment
- Document legal and lawful governance, RACI and process controls for accountability, responsibility, and oversight, including an example organizational chart
- Create job family, job description and workforce enablement plan
- Document forensic analyst training needs and skill requirements
- Identify training courses and recommended certifications
- Develop tools, technology, and facility recommendations
- Create End to End Cyber Forensics Process Flows
- Create reporting templates
- Create roadmap and proposed budget for program support, including maturity models for each service
- Create a detailed implementation plan and a Capabilities Presentation for client to use for internal socialization of program
Required Skills:
- 5-10 years’ experience in cyber forensics and investigations
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in program definition for large enterprises
- eDiscovery and computer forensics experience
- Experience defining program level roles and responsibilities, including RACI documentation
- Experience working in legal settings and processes for sensitive information
- Experience with developing forensics process flows
- Experience with creating roadmaps based on assessment findings
- Cyber forensics process optimization and assessment experience
- Working knowledge of leading industry practices for program recommendations that include the following
- Resource requirements. Including job families and process requirements
- Evidence management processes, including collection, management, chain of custody and evidence lifecycle management
- Investigations of Findings
- Process maturity models
- Facility management
- Reporting
- Industry trainings and certifications
- Ability to interpret and leverage existing documentation
- Excellent analytical skills
- Collaborative team worker – both in person and virtually using MS Teams or similar
- Excellent documentation skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work as liaison between business and information security / information technology
- Flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong spoken and written English

Preferred Skills:
- Cyber Forensic Certifications
Education:
- BS in Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc.
