Job Summary
The Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, optimization, and lifecycle of our full-arch solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of dental lab workflows, materials, and emerging digital dentistry trends. The Product Manager will collaborate with internal teams, clinicians, and external vendors to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, function, and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fixed full arch prostheses, dental technology, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Operational and Technical Oversight:
- Work closely with lab technicians to optimize production processes, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Partner with CAD/CAM teams to refine digital workflows and software integrations.
- Evaluate workflows and digital solutions to improve efficiency and clinical outcomes.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Develop training materials and conduct regular training sessions.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints related to product quality.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes of quality problems.
- ProblemSolving with an analytical mindset with a focus on improving efficiencies and product quality.
Quality Control Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for our full arch solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of dental products to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
- Identify and address any quality issues or nonconformances in the production process.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the laboratory.
- Ensure all products comply with industry regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Keep uptodate with changes in industry standards and regulations and implement necessary changes in the QC processes.
- Maintain detailed records of quality control processes, inspections, and test results.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a dental laboratory
Experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferred
3 years in dental laboratory product management, CAD/CAM dentistry, or related field.
Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Dental Technology, Biology,Engineering or a related field.
CDT Certification
Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of occlusion philosophy
Expert knowledge in all aspects of denture and hybrid fabrication including setting teeth, waxing, finishing, processing and digital design.
Strong knowledge of dental laboratory procedures and materials.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to train and mentor staff on quality control practices.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday.
May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines and manage audits.
Work is performed in a dental laboratory setting with exposure to various dental materials and equipment.
