The Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing products using computer software while working with sales, marketing, and manufacturing.
You will make an impact in this role by:
- Provide technical advice regarding product design and development. Will develop assembly and detail drawings and conceptual designs. Will continually check drawings and design work as needed.
- Establish product acceptance criteria and work with lab personnel on product performance and verification testing.
- Work with vendors to insure the most economical manufacturing processes and tooling requirements.
- Work with manufacturing and quality in the development of effective and accurate work instructions and procedures.
- Participate in the development of product catalogs and promotional literature.

- Ability to apply principles of math, logic, or scientific thinking to a wide variety of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate by listening and getting clarification, speaking clearly and persuasively, and responding appropriately.
Requirements
To be considered for the Design Engineer role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
- 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience designing machined parts.
- Experience with hydraulic components.
