Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician/ HHA to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.
- Provide compassionate care to individuals in home community care and assisted living environments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient living spaces to promote a safe and healthy environment.
- Monitor and document patient health status, reporting any changes to the supervising medical staff.
- Administer CPR and first aid as needed in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Engage with patients to enhance their quality of life through meaningful interactions and activities.
Experience
- Previous experience in home community care or assisted living is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in related fields are a plus.
- Medication administration certification
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- A clean background check is necessary for employment consideration.
