Overview

The Welder-Tig / Laser / EB uses special machines, welds pre-machined stainless steel parts together that may or may not be located by means of tooling or machining.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follows traveler instructions and weld schedules on a production basis
  • Assists engineering on prototypes, develops weld schedules based on similar parts
  • Uses specific tooling and fixtures, makes minor setups
  • Records completions and new weld schedule in log book
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Education and Experience

  • HS diploma required
  • Minimum 1 year progressive experience in electro-mechanical assembly
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and a good team player
  • Efficient, accurate, attentive to detail
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
