Job Title: Warehouse / Shipping and Receiving Associate

We are looking for a highly motivated Warehouse: Shipping & Receiving person for our Charlotte office. We would like the candidate to have a general knowledge of what we do and what we sell. Experience with hydraulic hoses is a plus.

Job Summary

You will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing all incoming material and stock orders. Duties will include, but are not limited to, picking, filling, packing and processing orders from stock to be shipped to various destinations using multiple shipping tools, which include UPS Worldship, Fed Ex, as well as other trucking (Ltl) companies. Managing, organizing and putting up of stock. Keeping the warehouse in a clean and presentable fashion.

Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Loading & unloading trucks, opening crates and containers
• Checking in merchandise received in via, UPS, Fed Ex and truck
• Pull parts, pack & process those parts for shipment (load, pack, wrap, label, etc)
• Sort & place parts on shelves, racks or bins according to organizational standards
• Receiving items into computer software
• Physical or cycle counting, reporting any discrepancies
• Keep a safe & clean work environment: keeping shelves, pallet area and work stations neat; sweep, dust and wipe down when and where necessary. Maintaining or advising when equipment needs special attention.

Demands & Abilities

• Regularly required to lift/move objects 0-60 lbs & occasionally lift/move objects that can weigh much more.
• Standing for the majority or all of the work day. Kneel, crouch or stoop when necessary.
• Use of a forklift.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift, typically 8:00am - 5:00pm, with 1 hour for lunch
• Day shift

Work Location: In person

High School Diploma, additional education or commensurate experience preferred
