What are the responsibilities and job description for the RENTAL WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR position at Hydraulic Technologies?
GENERAL SUMMARY
To lead and drive performance in the Bolting Systems Gonzales warehouse by overseeing day-to-day shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory controls in compliance with company policies and business strategies. This role will involve a mixture of hands-on repair and maintenance of rental tools and actively leading the team to manage the flow of rental tools through the warehouse ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Manage the warehouse in terms of compliance with company policies and strategy
- Oversee and manage day-to-day shipping, receiving, and tool maintenance, prioritize daily tasks, order processing, and shop operations.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with both external and internal customers, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Manage rental inventory control and reconcile with the Operations Supervisor on lost or damaged tooling.
- Shop safety, ensuring all equipment is in safe operating condition and all safety shop rules are followed.
- Must be very organized and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong customer service skills upon interaction on will calls, after-hour callouts or customer pickups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs and able to learn new programs.
- Must have technical aptitude and be mechanically inclined to troubleshoot repairs and increase productivity.
- Must be able to work an on-call schedule including after-hours weekends and holidays.
- Be hands-on and lead by example.
- The ability to identify opportunities for process development and improvement
- A demonstrated commitment to EHS procedures and behavior.
- Set up layout and ensure efficient space and asset utilization.
- Ensure cleanliness of the building, work areas, and external areas always using the 5S process
- Going the extra mile to engage the team and customers and develop relationships to increase business longevity, resolving any potential issues.
- Additional duties as assigned to ensure the smooth running of the business.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Relevant warehouse leadership experience preferably in a rental or service fast-paced environment.
8 years experience working in and leading a warehouse.
Be computer efficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP experience beneficial).
Clean driving history.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
TWIC card or ability to obtain.
Must have a can do attitude.
Must be effective at managing multiple tasks.
Must have mechanical aptitude and technical background.
Must be able to work independently, be a self-starter, and be self-motivated.
