OPPORTUNITY
Technical Services Specialist - Specialty Solutions
The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical service support for sugar, ethanol, and industrial¨NBSP;applications for new and existing business. This includes troubleshooting, problem solving and field testing of new products, application ideas and equipment. In addition, this individual will help support the corporate concept of total customer satisfaction as a way of life.
Primary responsibilities include :
Maintain chemical business at current accounts
Help to close business where opportunities have been uncovered by sales reps.
Install and maintain feed systems such as metering pumps, transfer pumps, and polymer dilution systems
Be proactive in identifying leads, qualifying them, and closing opportunities under the direction of the local account manager that will enhance Hydrite’s long-term market viability
Survey plants, utilize the various tools available to determine best-in-class solutions and offer unique chemical programs for our customers
Effectively manage time and territory to maximize productive activities
Write timely chemical treatment proposals and service reports
Proper care and use of all company property
Inventory management and utilization of Hydrite tools to include PowerBI and salesforce.
Maintain chemical sample supplies and equipment required to service accounts
Provide field assistance to the Hydrite Chemical Co sales organization
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager – Specialty Solutions.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
1-3 years of sales and / or field experience is desired
Technically competent in chemical treatment applications
Must
possess
strong problem solving, troubleshooting and “people” skills
Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English
Must
possess
a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
