Position Summary: Assembly and disassembly of mechanical parts.
- Monday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Friday 4x10 Schedule (6:30AM - 5PM)
- Biweekly Paychecks
- Assemble machinery and sub components for machinery
- Must be able or willing to drive and operate Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, and Boom Lifts – this is needed for moving equipment for working on and testing

Responsibilities
- Assembly of mechanical parts to aid in the production of the final product
- Assemble machinery and sub components for machinery
- Disassemble, steam clean and pressure clean used machinery and reassemble to OEM specification
- Removes rough spots and discoloration from welded areas using hand tools and an electrical passivation tool
- Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
- Safety and security: able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly
- Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Performs all other duties as directed by Management
- Must be able or willing to drive and operate Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, and Boom Lifts – this is needed for moving equipment for working on and testing
Competencies & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and seek out new skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain all types of simple assembly and material prints and BOMs
- Knowledge of air tools, power tools, grinders, and hand tools
- General knowledge of shop machines and precision measuring tools
- Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment, factoring small pieces
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and within tight deadlines
- Extremely organized, acute attention to detail, and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to safely operate (or learn to operate) a crane, scissor lift, forklift, pallet jack, extended boom lift, and/or overhead crane while moving machinery around the shop
- Knowledge of rigging and lifting hand signals
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- Ability to adapt to the work environment, deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events, while promoting a positive outlook
- Required to wear PPE equipment at all times while on production floor
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and remain on feet for long periods of time
- Extremely dependable; consistently at work and on time (notifies if late or absent prior to being late of absent), follows instruction, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
