Product and Sales Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product and Sales Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role is crucial for understanding and supporting our products and generating sales growth whilst managing the existing base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product technical support and sales, with a passion for safety and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute global sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Lead all technical support including but not limited to customer technical questions, product demonstrations, and/or training if necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, monitoring customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes and contracts and follow up.
- Provide analysis and build plans to improve performance metrics.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure stock fulfilment.
- Gather voice of customer feedback and work with engineering to build continuous improvement plans.
- Identify and engage potential customers (globally) to drive growth.
- Responsible for managing customer database and contacts.
- Support the marketing team in efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field or qualified by experience.
- Proven experience in sales and technical product support, preferably in the safety or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of fire detection systems and testing equipment is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization, independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
