As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Hydro-Gear, youll Administer and improve supplier quality programs with responsibilities for system, process, and product audits and scorecard activity.
Work daily with purchasing, inspection and suppliers to resolve quality related issues; disposition non-conforming material; support buyer in providing fit for use materialsValidate Supplier APQP functionsEnsure timely and effective supplier corrective actionsImplement and maintain an effective reporting system for key issues and opportunities for improvement in supplier quality performanceDevelop suppliers use of quality and statistical tools in problem identification and resolutionCollege degree with manufacturing experience preferred Willing to travel up to 40% domestically & up to 10% internationally - majority of travel being scheduled visits.
