Key Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Engineer Machining will conduct continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability of machining processes. They will also be responsible for CNC programming for all horizontal (HMC) and vertical (VMC) machining, cutting tool specification and process improvement, CMM programming and program management, gauge design and specification, machining fixture design, data collection and analysis, mechanical design, electrical and robot knowledge, PLC programming, pneumatic and fluid systems knowledge, experience with presses and fasteners, error proofing concepts and production processes, project management, and quality management system experience.
