Daily Responsibilities
You'll administer and improve supplier quality programs with responsibilities for system, process, and product audits and scorecard activity. You'll work daily with purchasing, inspection and suppliers to resolve quality related issues; disposition non-conforming material; support buyer in providing fit for use materials.
Key Accountabilities
- Validate Supplier APQP functions
- Ensure timely and effective supplier corrective actions
- Implement and maintain an effective reporting system for key issues and opportunities for improvement in supplier quality performance
- Develop suppliers' use of quality and statistical tools in problem identification and resolution
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A college degree with manufacturing experience preferred
- Will to travel up to 40% domestically & up to 10% internationally - majority of travel being scheduled visits
