Job Responsibilities
- Administer and improve supplier quality programs through system, process, and product audits, as well as scorecard activity.
- Work with purchasing, inspection, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues, disposition non-conforming material, and support buyers in providing fit-for-use materials.
- Validate supplier APQP functions.
- E nsure timely and effective supplier corrective actions.
- Implement and maintain an effective reporting system for key issues and opportunities for improvement in supplier quality performance.
- Develop suppliers' use of quality and statistical tools in problem identification and resolution.
- Travel domestically up to 40% and internationally up to 10%, with scheduled visits being the majority.
Requirements
- A preferred college degree with at least one year of manufacturing experience, or a technical degree with at least three years of manufacturing experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
