We have an opening for one full time employee for this position.
This is a hands-on position. Our shipping and inventory clerks:
- Prep equipment and parts orders for shipment.
- Verify part numbers and quantities of incoming shipments.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Pull jobs.
- Crate outgoing shipments.
- Work individually or as a team.
Skills:
- Operate a forklift.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Prior experience of product shipping process preferred
- Detail oriented with strict eye for vendor part numbering and comparison to purchase orders
- Logistical coordination of outgoing parts to outside vendors
- Willing to work as a team with many departments to expedite the transportation and movement of parts through production
Hydro-Pac provides all tools and will train the right candidate.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Standing and walking on concrete floors.
- Normal hearing and range of vision.
- Requires standing, walking, reaching, stooping, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling frequently.
- Ability to work in hot/cool and noisy work environment.
