Key Responsibilities of the General Manager
Financial Oversight & Strategy
- Oversee financial performance for the region, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability
- Monitor budget adherence, analyze financial data, and make data-driven decisions to achieve financial targets
- Utilize forecasting and capacity models to ensure teams are properly staffed and trained to meet budgets
- Evaluate performance metrics and operational data to identify areas for improvement
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide direct leadership for field operations, customer support, and site administration
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing field staff
- Support expansion initiatives and leadership execution within the region
- Foster a positive and productive work environment to enhance employee engagement
Customer & Compliance Management
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Address customer concerns promptly, striving to exceed expectations
- Establish and enforce policies that promote company culture, vision, and safety
Operational Execution & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve company objectives
- Set clear expectations, goals, and KPIs to drive performance and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing operations within a service-based industry
- Proven track record of managing P&L responsibilities
- Strong understanding of operational efficiency, performance metrics, and financial analysis
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- Irrigation industry knowledge
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Frequent repetitive hand and arm motions with prolonged periods of sitting
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, listen, reach, kneel, and balance
- Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for keyboarding and handling equipment
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
