Final Inspector

Job Overview

Final inspection of production parts to ensure quality meets customer specifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Perform final inspection of tube assemblies - Measure and inspect production parts for conformance to customer requirements

· Perform in-process inspections to ensure conforming parts are being produced

· Discuss inspection results with the production team and recommend necessary corrective actions

· Issue non-conformances for internal quality issues and customer returns

· Data entry of inspection results and/or non-conformance information

· Experience with submitting customer PPAPs, including material certifications, control plans, FMEAs, and dimensional results

· Track customer RMAs and notify Operations for disposition

· Assist the Quality Manager in other assigned areas, including ISO9001 compliance and management of gage calibration

· Assist with receiving inspection and shipping as needed

· Must have the ability to use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, CMM, FARO Arm, and other various inspection instruments; FARO experience is a plus

· Computer experience required for documentation and tracking purposes

· All other duties as assigned

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
