Your Role: As a Precision Machine Technician, you'll step into a vibrant environment where your skills with industrial machinery will lead the charge in crafting essential pump components. From handling large-scale equipment to mastering manual lathe operations, you'll fine-tune parts to exact specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting layouts and setting up traditional machine tools.
- Expertly handling ID/OD Grinders, Turret Lathe, and more.
- Interpreting technical drawings with geometric precision.
- Ensuring tolerances within /- 0.001” are met with diligence.
- Inspecting parts using micrometers to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Molding pump components including impellers and shafts.
- Following precise machining instructions to enhance component quality.
- Innovating on existing methods for improved results.
- Exhibiting strong communication and detail-oriented skills.
- Engaging in overtime work when business needs arise.
Your Profile:
- High School Graduate or equivalent academic qualification.
- A seasoned machinist with 5-10 years of experience.
- Proven expertise in operating traditional machine shop equipment.
- A collaborative spirit ready to embrace teamwork.
- Shift flexibility to accommodate business demands.
- Valid work status and authorization is required.
- Ability to successfully meet pre-employment requirements by passing a basic physical exam and drug screen.
