Summary :
Set-up and operate electronically controlled, high production, precision fabrication machine to produce parts that meet rigid quality standards while achieving high productivity levels as instructed by the Supervisor.
Responsible for operating the machine in the safest manner possible.
Starting Rate of pay : $ 20 / hr. plus $1.00 shift differential for 3rd Shift.
Shifts Available and Hours :
- 1st Shift Sun- Thurs. 6.00AM to 2 : 30PM.
- 3rd Shift Sun- Thurs. 10.00PM to 6 : 30AM ( Training on 1st shift M - F (6.00AM - 2.30PM) for the first 2 weeks).
Education and Experience Requirements :
- Will be required to lift approximately forty to fifty (40-50) lbs. either from time to time or continuously during the scheduled shift.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment is desired.
- Assembly or Machine Operator / Heavy Press experience is a plus.
- CNC experience is a plus.
Job Responsibilities :
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material or equipment needs.
- Safely and efficiently operator assigned equipment or machine.
- Lifts and stacks product.
- Maintains efficiency standards set for assigned area.
- Maintains good housekeeping of work areas.
