Starting Rate of Pay: $17.48
Shifts Available and Hours: Third Shift 11PM to 7AM
Shift Premium: $1 additional for working Third shift
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate various equipment (i.e. mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers) and use various hand tools.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper safety devices (e.g. guarding) are in place and notify supervisor or foreperson of any safety concerns.
- Set up equipment for basic operation.
- Read and interpret various precision measuring tools, such as digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges.
- Visually inspect work piece before and after machining for defects.
- Maintain all records on job assignments in a correct and timely manner, on paper as well as in the computer.
- Perform quality control (Q.C.) checks on in-process operations.
- Ensure that all scrap and waste material is disposed of properly.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/ GED.
- Understanding of safety, quality, and production processes.
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally.
