Shifts Available and Hours:Float between 1st and 2nd Shift 5am-1pm or 1pm-9pm
Shift Premium: 2nd or 3rd shift - $1.00/hour extra
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct shipment of customer orders and hazardous material orders.
- Monitor employee productivity.
- Examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Active facilitator of safety initiatives and policies.
- Study and standardize work procedures to improve efficiency of work.
- Assist employees with work process problems and maintain harmony among workers.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Assist the manager by identifying work procedures, prepare work schedules and expediting work-flow.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required/or a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of three years of work experience in a manufacturing and/or shipping environment.
- Microsoft Office Skills are a must.
- Oracle skills preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or shipping environment.
- Experience with color and gloss measurement techniques preferred.
