Construction Supervisior

Schedule: Standard Office Hours
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate Range: $33 - $36/ph

Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide technical and/or budgetary support for major infrastructure projects, with a focus on reviewing contract documents, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring high standards of design and safety are met.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
• Review plant design criteria, technical drawings, and project specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide oversight and monitoring of contractor activities related to electrical and fiber installation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including EPC contractors, subcontractors, and operational teams, to ensure project goals are met.
• Conduct inspections of installed electrical equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and scope of work.
• Facilitate Requests for Information (RFI) with engineering and construction teams.
• Document and report progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, with a focus on safety, quality control, and timelines.
• Use project management tools (e.g., Unifier) for uploading and naming quality control documentation and photographs.
• Participate in project turnover and commissioning processes.
• Review and ensure completeness of project closeout documentation.
• Promote safety as the highest priority on-site, in accordance with all applicable company rules and policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders on-site.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, SCADA, and fiber optics.
• Proficient in testing methods such as TTR, VLF, ODTR, Fall of Potential, and VOCs.
• Skilled in interpreting and verifying drawings, submittals, and specifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of project documentation systems and QA/QC protocols.
Education & Experience:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Prior experience supervising electrical installation projects in an industrial or energy setting.
• Familiarity with industry-standard testing protocols and safety regulations.
• Experience using project management platforms and document control tools.
