Job Description
The Hydrogen Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician II to join our team. This is a 6-month contract position with a pay rate range of $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
As a Quality Control Technician II, you will be responsible for reviewing materials and documentation from internal manufacturing and external suppliers to ensure material acceptability. You will assist Quality Engineers with data gathering, analysis, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a laboratory environment, ensuring cleanliness and proper material handling.
- Perform lot release testing, data recording, analysis, and basic statistical evaluation.
- Conduct receiving inspections, including visual examination, specification confirmation, and measurements.
- Provide independent review of other technicians' work and assemble sample products for testing.
- Document inspection results, monitor product quality, and report findings.
- Maintain measurement equipment and ensure calibration compliance.
- Generate NCR/Deviation Reports and contribute to CAPA processes.
- Suggest continuous improvement activities and propose procedure modifications.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and refine lab procedures.
- Conduct training exercises and support internal/external audits.
- Assist internal manufacturing activities and comply with company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma; vocational training or five years of relevant experience preferred.
- Five years of experience in quality control, preferably with ISO and GMP systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, judgment, and communication abilities.
- Experience with technical services, R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Minitab, and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of GXP, 21CFR, ISO, QSR, and related regulations.
- Strong background in manufacturing and operations with a solid understanding of quality control principles.
