Location: Minnetonka, MN (onsite)
Schedule: 2nd Shift (Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm - 3:00am, 4x10 hour shifts)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay range: $33.00 - $38.00/hr
The Senior Quality Control Technician is responsible for reviewing materials and documentation from both internal and external sources to determine acceptability. The role also supports Quality Engineers with data analysis and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct lot release testing and receiving inspections on materials.
- Review documentation and inspection results, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and measurement equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers on test procedures and methods.
- Monitor incoming product quality and generate non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and CAPA processes.
- Train and mentor QC team members; support audits and internal manufacturing activities.
- Communicate effectively across departments and with suppliers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; vocational training or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years in quality control within ISO/GMP environments.
- Proficiency in Excel, Minitab, and knowledge of relevant regulations (GXP, ISO, QSR, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing or operations setting.
