POSITION DESCRIPTION
Currently, HGL is seeking a Radiation Control Technician 3 to join our team in Camden County, NJ on site in our Gloucester City, NJ location.
Responsibilities / Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing radiological control functions including :
- Contamination and radiation control;
- Conducting and documenting radiological surveys;
- Establishing and maintaining area radiological postings;
- Conducting radiological monitoring;
- Air sampling and site characterization;
- Supporting remedial activities and confirmation sampling;
- Tracking and monitoring radiological exposure to site personnel
- Technical support and / or supervision of a variety of project tasks will be required.
Required Skills
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Performance of radiological release surveys for personnel, equipment, and environmental material; working with stationary and portable radiation detection instrumentation;
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER (or within first 45 days of employment)
Preferred Skills

Project schedule is 7 : 00 am-5 : 30 pm, Monday-Thursday. Alternate or extended shift scheduling may be required short-term to meet project demands
