We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems.

Description
Diagnose and repair equipment using diagnostic tools appropriate to the equipment type; perform routine preventive maintenance procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
Complete all service reports and submit on timely basis
Proactively communicate with Equipment Manager concerning equipment and job-related projects
Inspect and ensure safety devices are functional – such as back up alarms, fire extinguishers, seat belts, horns, etc.
Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment
Work more than 40 hours per week and overtime including some weekends
Perform additional assignments per Supervisor’s direction
Requirements
Must have a clean driving record
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Prefer completion of Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technology program from accredited vocational or technical school
Prefer three years of experience in a related field
Ability to properly diagnose and repair hydraulics, powertrain, electrical, etc.
Read, understand and use service and operation manuals for reference
Operate tools and equipment used to repair construction equipment
Fl CDL preferred
Pre-employment drug screening required.

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
- Previous experience as a mechanic preferred
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must have own tools
- Welding experience a plus
