Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inter-branch transfers, ensuring that materials and supplies are moved between our 13 locations efficiently and effectively to ensure locations are getting product replenished from the DC and other locations in a timely manner. This role requires strong skills in inventory management, and data analysis, with a focus on maintaining optimal inventory levels to support our operations.
Duties
- Manage the procurement process from identifying needs to placing orders for materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with various departments to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock or shortages.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and basic math/algebra skills would be utilized on a daily basis.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.
- Ability to work independently.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
