Job Description Summary
Our Professional Services Project Manager 1 is responsible for assisting with implementing turn-key installation and customer support projects. This includes scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, tracking project status, and documenting and reporting issues and status. This position includes direct interface with internal departments including sales, inside sales, Customer Success, and customers and sub-contractors. The Project Manager will work closely with a Senior Project Manager on all aspects of the Job.
The right candidate will have extraordinary attention to detail and ownership of personal tasks, a strong ability to communicate, excellent time management skills, and a desire to learn and thrive in the fast-paced environment of a growing company.
This is an entry-level position. The intent of the Project Manager position is to sufficiently master the HydroPoint Project Management process and eventually grow into a full Project Manager position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Senior Project Manager with coordination of product installation and service projects including scheduling installations, site visits, training, and customer communications.
- Disperse, collect, and validate documentation including, but not limited to contracts, work orders, and form submissions for work validation.
- Coordinate with Customer Support to schedule internal resources for field service requests.
- Receive and validate service requests and work with internal and external resources for scheduling and completion of support services.
- Assist in the scheduling of HydroPoint Product Specialists and Sub-contractors.
- Prepare and maintain project status reports and be prepared to present on project status in weekly meetings or to HydroPoint Executive team members.
- Entering and coordinating parts orders from HydroPoint internal support staff and HydroPoint Product Specialists in the field
- Help with project quotation and estimation.
- Coordinate with Customer Support to schedule internal resources for field service requests.
- Collect and coordinate pre-sale project data.
- Assist with scheduling and forecasting of new projects including resource planning.
- Assist with travel arrangements for HydroPoint Professional Services team members.
