CNC Press Brake Technician

HydroSolutions of Duluth is hiring a CNC Press Brake Technician. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Associate to be part of our team. The right individual will know how to utilize CNC forming technologies to produce from simple to moderately complex machined components. This ideal team member will have a desire and ability to master all facets of programming, tooling, and machining.

The position requires set-up, operation, and programing of 2 CNC press brakes as well various other forming equipment. Willingness and ability to train learn and execute as part of a dynamic team is a fundamental requirement. Inspection of own and other associate's parts, computer skills, ability to read prints and exercise sound judgment is a must. Pay will depend on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Under limited supervision, operate 2 CNC machines
• Set-up and operate secondary equipment and perform any other functions within the department that may be necessary
• Inspect completed material utilizing hand inspection equipment, i.e. vernier calipers, height gauge, micrometer and drop dial indicators as well as other metrology devices.
• Interact in a Manufacturing environment with a Quality personnel on a daily basis
• CNC Forming Technician shall be responsible for programming of new programs.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have Press Brake Experience
• Vocational trades school, high school diploma or equivalent required; formal trades, apprenticeship preferred
• Must have sufficient education to read complex engineering drawings, perform shop math, and keep accurate records
• Prior experience with at least one of a variety of CNC Press , CNC milling, or CNC technologies to produce complex to moderately complex machined components.
• Personal computer knowledge required
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing preferred
• Position requires a commitment to accelerated development using a variety of training methods, both internal and external to Hydrosolutions of Duluth, Inc

All training will be developed and implemented based upon the candidates experience level.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stay on task seeing project through to end. Ability to work at a steady pace with high degree of accuracy and planning for multiple jobs in process at once. Ability to take on and finish a given task. Ability to work well with others.

Must have average stamina and be able to handle up to 75 lbs during standard lifting tasks.

Must have good eyesight.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
