Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to focus on generating new business and acquiring new accounts in addition to managing existing clients - proactively identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving growth. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, networking, and closing deals to expand our customer base.

Business Development:
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Hydrotech’s core products and solutions to successfully promote to prospective customers.
- Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects to deploy strategies for maintaining and developing new business.
- Create market awareness through networking, presentations, etc. through channels such as online forums, industry trade shows, etc.
- Effectively consult and communicate products and solutions with a high degree of technical competency to provide optimal problem-solving solutions.
- Work with vendor partners to grow business in your area
- Effectively develop “upfront contracts” when pursuing sales opportunities such as detailed application parameters, project budgets, terms of sale, etc.
- Work effectively with internal support departments such as engineering, production, accounting, marketing, etc. to achieve corporate goals.
Planning & Reporting:
- Create an effective territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas to support the company's financial operating plan.
- Create and provide detailed forecasts for both internal management and vendor partners on an as-needed basis.
- Maintain CRM sales leads and opportunity pipeline funnel for respective APR.
- Create strategic account development plans for high-value target accounts, and execute, measure, and report results.
General Administration:
- Respond to routine emails, phone calls, etc.
- Make copies, print documents, etc.
- File paperwork

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or related Discipline desired
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and business development
- Effective utilization of CRM systems
- Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development and lead qualification.
- Supplemental sales training and certifications (i.e., Sandler Sales)
