What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Manager position at Hydroworx International Inc?
Responsible for all material spend as it relates to R&D, Production, and Service Departments. The Supply Chain Manager must be flexible and able to manage multiple complex tasks with accuracy and completeness every day. The Supply Chain Manager works daily to eliminate process disruptions that could delay production operations as they arise and to make the department more efficient overall.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Leads cross-functional teams in sourcing decisions
- Manages the Supply Chain cycle from timely ordering to on-time delivery
- Create the company’s supply chain strategy
- Evaluate and report on KPIs for the Supply Chain team
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate cost of goods sold reduction forecast
- Responsible for maintaining a costed Bill of Material for all products and shall report monthly on each individual pool on any cost reductions or overspending compared to plan. (Future need)
- Provide input to strategic planning for manufacturing projects
- Responsible for making sure all production order parts are ordered to support the production schedule.
- Expedite shipments with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Work with Finance to ensure all open invoices and drop shipments are processed on a weekly basis.
- Support Finance in month-end activities. All paperwork should be turned in within 3 days for the end of the month.
- Responsible for managing the approved suppliers and holding them accountable for meeting agreed delivery dates.
- Assist with inventory management to minimize monthly variances.
- Continuously look for COGS reductions that will not diminish the quality of HydroWorx pools or pool components.
- Collaborate with other members of the Production and Supply Chain team to improve processes and scale the department to meet the needs of the business.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or similar relevant field
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Supply Chain Manager
- Hands on experience with supply chain management software
- Experience with Business Central a plus
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear in order to exchange information. This is largely a sedentary role. Occasionally moves to access files, fax & copy machines. On occasions may lift up to 10 lbs.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines, filing cabinets.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position is eligible for some remote work after the probationary period.
Travel: Occasional travel is required.
Training: Training for this position will be conducted per HydroWorx Training Program.
