Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Batch Maker to join our team in the chemicals industry. The Batch Maker will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients according to recipes to create various food products.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and combine materials according to requisition forms
- Operate equipment to mix, blend, or sanitize
- Sanitize work areas and equipment to maintain cleanliness standards
- Package finished products for distribution
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines in a food processing plant
- Adhere to HACCP, CGMP, and food safety regulations
- Issues batch records based on requests from Planning.
- Complete component requirements for all batch records
- Communicates relevant batch information to other departments as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in basic math for accurate measurements and calculations
- Experience with forklift operation for material handling (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of chemical processing techniques and equipment
- Understanding of FDA regulations or standards
- Familiarity with the chemical industry practices
