Location : This is a Remote position; however, candidates located in the Washington DC area or East Coast are strongly preferred.
About the role : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Architect to support our federal client. Our ideal candidate can work with the client to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, define, develop and debug cloud solution components.
- Use the latest Azure technologies to improve the client's environment using current cloud capabilities.
- Ensure the cloud-based server is secure, available, scalable, and compliant.
- Stand up a functional test environment for the platform.
- Integrate system access control with the client's internal enterprise solution for access management.
- Ensure cloud services performed for the platform meet the required regulations in controls e.g., FISMA, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FOIA, etc.
- Support the creation of security and privacy documentation required to achieve an ATO for the platform.
