Job Summary
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying, and closing new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory or market segment. This role requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, industry events, and online research.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Accurately track and report sales activities, progress, and results using CRM software.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product/service offerings.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Meet or exceed established sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs).
