The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Contract) will implement and maintain end to end test automation frameworks (CI, CD and Automated scripts) to further improve our applications resilience and shorten our delivery cycles. This role requires passion for problem-solving, high-quality software and engineering principles. This is a 6-month contract position in Camarillo, CA or Mississauga, ON,
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured automated scripts
- Create and maintain scalable automation pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs through Dev Azure/Git
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate automation activities; including creating data scenarios to support automation plans
- Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
- Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
- Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
- Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner
- Handles various other duties as delegated by the Director, Software Development
Qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of experience coding automation scripts in a web application environment
- Demonstrable ability to work with Cypress, Appium and Selenium
- Demonstrable ability to work with the .NET framework / C# within an automation framework
- Demonstrable ability to work with SQL Server / T-SQL language
- Solid knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Solid knowledge of Web services; REST protocol
- Working knowledge of SPA frameworks
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
Salary Range (applicable to California):
$47.00 to $60.00 per hour DOE
