Hyland Filter Service is hiring a Service Technician for a full time role.
Description:
· This position requires regularly overnight and out-of-state travel during the week.
o Must be ready to travel Mon-Fri at a minimum
o Some routes may go longer than one week
· Onsite work includes changing filters, site installs, coil cleanings, site surveys and inspections on commercial properties
· You will be assigned a select number of job sites to complete within a certain time frame
· Job sites will require the use of extension ladders, some will require a lift
Expectations
This is a fast paced, production based position. This position requires a level of toughness to be out on the road by yourself. Hyland will expect the utmost professionalism and customer service while onsite and at any time that represents the company. Company-wide, disrespect is not tolerated. Instructions and corrections must be received and taken into account. Lying and dishonesty are not tolerated. Must be able to maintain company equipment that is provided to you. Lastly, must be able to follow company policy.
The service work here is done individually. Therefore, a Service Technician here must be able to get going on your own every morning. Must be able to stick to a week long plan and work without supervision. Must be able to complete routes in all weather conditions.
Fit
A good fit here will be able to work independently, will be able to receive instruction and feedback, can handle adversity while out on the road by yourself, will have an unwavering level of honest and work ethic, and will be ready to work as a team
You must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening. Must have a clean driving background. Must be able to move up and down ladders all day, be on your feet all day, carry heavy equipment and complete a full day of work every day.
Requirements:
Prior experience in outdoor labor
Prior experience with extension ladders
Prior travel experience
Must have experience in a professional environment
Experience in a role that allowed you to work on your own

Training
Training will include shadowing a lead technician for a full week. Must be able to complete a test with area supervisor to show a high level of understanding of all aspects of the job. Additional training may be required after this test.
