Overview
The Corporate Communications Specialist drives company growth and elevates Hyland’s brand by supporting key communications and collaborating directly with senior and cross-functional stakeholders. This role is instrumental in developing and executing communication strategies that advance corporate objectives and shape Hyland’s long-term business narrative.
What you will be doing
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that support critical corporate initiatives and enhance brand awareness.
- Convey complex information into clear, engaging and impactful content for diverse audiences, with a focus on change management and strategic messaging.
- Proactively manage communication deliverables, ensuring timely execution, adherence to established processes and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging that reinforces corporate goals and departmental strategies.
- Assist in the development of communication protocols and best practices to support effective crisis management as needed.
- Track communication performance and leverage data to refine strategies and improve impact.
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy
What will make you successful
- 4–7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing or a related field, with a record of developing and executing successful communication strategies
- Ability to understand and translate business objectives into effective communication plans
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise and engaging content, and to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication platforms and tools
- Fluency in English language (reading, written and spoken)
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, English, journalism or a related field
- Eager to learn, take on new challenges and contribute to a transformative organization
- Up to 10% travel may be required
