The Data Analyst 2 is responsible for understanding business/department needs and goals and creating data-driven analysis and insight to support management decisions.
- Track metrics and/or dashboards
- Report on findings; summarize analyses into clear, concise and effective reports or presentations
- Perform data integrity audits
- Compose internal documentation that details processes and findings
- Regularly provide input on how to improve internal efficiencies; grow knowledge and be aware of best practices and market trends
- Provide guidance on how to interpret data
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering or a related technical field)
PowerBI Analyst Certification or equivalent
Min. 2 years experience as a Data Analyst
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to work independently or as a team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make meaningful recommendations that will inform our business strategy based on data analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Proficiency in SQL preferred. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Apache Spark or R desired.
Expertise manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends, connecting data sources, and using visualization tools to tell a story with data.
Knowledge of data warehousing technologies and SQL server. Experience building data pipelines and analyzing large datasets are a plus.
Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
Strong collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences
Strong business and technology acumen. SaaS experience is a plus.
- Up to 5% travel time required

Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $70,400 -$105,600 and eligible for benefits
