Overview

The Strategic Finance Manager 4 is responsible for leading the business strategy data analysis and aligning financial goals with business objectives. This position is critical in the successful execution of the Company's long-range financial plan and provide data-driven insights in support of strategic initiatives across the company including M&A. The Strategic Finance Manager 4 will monitor trends and developments in the industry the economy and capital markets and will be responsible for conducting research and analysis of both internal and external financial business and technology trends including long term financial modeling.

What you will be doing

Maintain detailed 3-statement financial model valuation model and other relevant industry and market models

Support strategic short and long-term business decisions through financial modeling and analysis of investment opportunities
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership on company financial performance including metrics to help meet long term growth plans
Develop forecasts and analysis on customer and ARR related metrics while providing leadership on the implications of these metrics
Identify financial risks and opportunities through variance analysis scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis
Conduct market analysis and industry benchmarking to inform growth strategies
Develop and present dashboards reports and executive summaries highlighting financial performance and KPIs
Identify areas for operational efficiencies and implement process improvements within the finance function
Maintain detailed financial model valuation model and other relevant industry and market models
Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge
Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends
Mentor coach train and provide feedback to other team members; provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy

What will make you successful

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

8 years of related experience in a senior financial or strategic role preferably in Enterprise SaaS within a high-growth environment. Prior experience in investment banking is a strong preference

Strong experience with FP&A and BI analytics tools like Adaptive Insights and PowerBI

Microsoft Windows and Office proficient

Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with executive presence

Excellent organizational multi-tasking and time management skills

Excellent collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent leadership sound judgement and business acumen skills

Excellent facilitation and project management skill

Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department

Excellent data gathering interviewing and analytical / problem solving skills

Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

Excellent project management capabilities; able to work under deadlines to produce key deliverables

Strong research and analysis skills including financial modeling and valuation

Strong financial business modeling and analysis skills; sound business judgment

Excellent skills in both understanding and interpreting financial statements (income statement balance sheet and cash flow statement) and financial modeling skills

Excellent ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutions

Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently

Able to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environment

Excellent attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to influence motivate and mobilize team members and business partners

Excellent ability to develop and use engaging informative and compelling presentation methodologies

Excellent ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact

Excellent ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to coach mentor and provide feedback to team members in a timely manner

Ability to provide guidance and support to developing team members

Excellent knowledge of systems administration

Excellent experience with Microsoft Operating systems and products

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook or equivalent email and calendar software

Excellent business and technology acumen

Adaptive and Netsuite experience

Up to 5% travel time required

Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements : base salary range of $135,000-$157,000 and eligible for benefits
