What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Licensing Associate position at Hylant?
The Opportunity:
The Licensing Associate provides accurate, timely processing of Carrier Credential requests and P&C New Hire Carrier Appointments ensuring procedures are followed within the compliance guidelines, in addition to providing requested certificates by due dates.
In This Role You Will Execute On:
- Assign insurance carrier credentials to new Hylant employees and others as requested
- Deactivate carrier credentials as needed
- Maintain carrier login workbooks

Handle Property & Casualty (P&C) carrier appointments, including:
- New Employees
- Individual and business entity requests
- P&C carrier appointment audits
- carrier requests regarding P&C producers
- Provide requested Error & Omissions (E&O) certificates as requests by insurance carriers
- Create daily Licensing help desk report for internal distribution and review
- Forward incoming notifications to assigned Hylant service associates
- Save P&C appointment confirmations and terminations to OnBase
- Save State Licensure, Oden and SILA notifications received to OnBase
- Review unlicensed New Hire Help Desk calls for active National Producer Numbers
- Assist in completing special projects as time permits
In This Role You Will Need:
- High school diploma required
- Two (2) or more years of experience required
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on customer service
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time appropriately
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task
- Problem solving skills, including research capabilities
