What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Program Marketing Assistant position at Hylant?
The Opportunity:
The Program Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Small Commercial Program Managers and Client Executives by providing excellent service and deliverables to internal and external clients in accordance with Hylant standards. This enables continuous growth and development of insurance knowledge and professionalism to the highest level possible.
In This Role You Will Execute On:
- Develop expertise in effectively navigating and quoting through carriers’ online platforms.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Hylant carrier partner underwriters.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of the property and casualty franchise space while demonstrating the ability to grow and expand expertise beyond this area.
- Master and execute servicing and processing tasks, such as issuance of certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and other service-related tasks within the agency management system (Applied EPIC).
- Understand and use Applied EPIC naming conventions and activities.
- Provide prompt, accurate and thoughtful service to clients by consistently responding to internal and external client inquiries, ideally within one day of receipt.
In This Role You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk management, or similar field of study; or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- One (1) or more years of insurance client service experience preferred, not required.
- Active Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain within the first 60 days of employment.
- Excellent attention to detail, positive attitude, ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to execute on said products.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work to meet or exceed deadline expectations.
- Demonstrated adaptability and strong capacity to learn quickly while embracing constructive feedback.
