About Us
We are a boutique fitness studio with three locations in the SC region, along with a sister MedSpa, dedicated to providing an experiential take on fitness. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable & Compliance Clerk to help handle our financial and business compliance operations.
Position Overview
We are seeking a task-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated individual to manage accounts payable and assist with compliance-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate has experience with QuickBooks Online, strong attention to detail, and a general understanding of local business compliance requirements. This role offers a flexible schedule but requires a minimum of ~15 hours per week in-office, with opportunities to develop into a full-time position as the need arises.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring timely payments.
- Maintain vendor records and manage payment schedules.
- Track and categorize expenses using QuickBooks Online.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial reconciliation.
Compliance & Administrative Support:
- Ensure business licenses, permits, insurance, etc. are up to date.
- Assist with compliance-related filings and document retention.
- Support the management team in staying compliant with local business regulations.
General Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial and business records.
- Communicate with vendors and team members as needed.
- Support occasional special projects related to finance and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Accounts Payable and familiarity with accounting best practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required).
- Knowledge of local business compliance (licensing, permits, insurance, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in-office at least 15 hours per week, with flexibility for remote work.
