IRRIGATION LEAD TECHNICIAN

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and landscapes. This role requires a strong understanding of irrigation techniques and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Duties

• Install and maintain irrigation systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Dig trenches for piping installation and ensure proper placement of irrigation components.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate watering schedules that support plant health.
• Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and system operation.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance schedules.

Skills

• Proficient in irrigating techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems effectively.
• Experience with lawn care practices that complement irrigation efforts.
• Ability to build and install various irrigation components using hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including digging and lifting as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
