The Recruiter will be under moderate supervision, this role provides comprehensive HR support with a focus on staffing, recruiting, affirmative action compliance, and HR record maintenance to ensure legal and regulatory adherence. The Recruiter will collaborate closely with the recruiting team, hiring managers, and team members to develop and execute strategies for identifying and attracting top talent.
SUMMARY:
- Responsible for Hyosung HICO in house, full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, and assessing candidates.
- Develop innovative and budget-conscious strategies to attract top talent.
- Engage and activate passive candidates using Boolean searches, LinkedIn, and other sourcing techniques.
- Manage external recruiters and employment agencies as needed.
- Maintain an up-to-date candidate pipeline and provide regular hiring reports to internal stakeholders.
- Review resumes, conduct pre-screenings, and ensure candidates meet basic qualifications.
- Coordinate and attend recruitment events such as job fairs, open houses, and virtual events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and technical schools to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Partner with agencies and institutions to create customized training programs aligned with company needs.
- Maintain and safeguard confidential employee records and recruitment documentation.
- Ensure recruiting data is accurately recorded in HRIS and maintain hiring metrics for reporting and decision-making.
- Support the affirmative action plan by maintaining required data for compliance.
- Oversee the internal job posting process, ensuring eligibility criteria are met and coordinating with hiring managers for candidate selection.
- Act as a liaison between various departments, employees, external agencies, and job applicants.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support and assist HYOSUNG HICO’s Human Resources staff and other staff as needed.
- Know HYOSUNG HICO’s Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.

REQUIRMENTS:
- Associate’s degree or specialized training in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. A minimum of four (4) years of relevant HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Proven ability to screen resumes, identify qualified candidates, and approach passive job seekers.
- Strong ability to collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems; UKG experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in a multicultural work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to use standard office equipment (PC, copier, fax machine, etc.).
- Occasional travel (less than 10%) may be required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data-driven insights.
