We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Data Analyst to join our apparel brand. This role plays a critical part in optimizing inventory levels, ensuring stock aligns with consumer demand, and improving efficiency. The ideal candidate will analyze sales trends, forecast demand, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to support strategic inventory planning across multiple sales channels.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory turnover rates, sell-through performance, and replenishment strategies to ensure the right products are available at the right time.
- Demand Forecasting: Use historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality factors to predict demand and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Maintain and analyze data, creating dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Multi-Channel Support: Manage inventory across various sales channels, including e-commerce and wholesale, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in inventory management, demand planning, or data analytics in the apparel industry (women’s fashion preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate insights.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and data visualization tools.
- Understanding of fashion cycles and sales trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment in Los Angeles.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
