We are seeking an entry level IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and services.
In this role you will be responsible for setting up and managing all workstations, devices, and network needs for Hyper employees — across both in-office (Richmond, VA) and remote environments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for Hyper’s external IT management partner, ensuring that all systems are secure, efficient, and well-maintained

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Employee Hardware & Setup: Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, tablets, and accessories for new hires (onboarding) and existing employees
Maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses: Provide basic technical support to Hyper team members across MacOS and Windows environments.
Office IT Infrastructure: Manage local office networking (Wi-Fi, printers, routers, etc.) and ensure all systems are optimized and secure.
Ensure conference room technology is functioning and up to date. Troubleshooting as required.
Remote Team Support: Ensure remote employees have access to all required tools, hardware, and secure connections.
Manage remote troubleshooting, device shipment, and remote access setup of VPNs, mobile device management, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years’ experience in an IT support, IT operations, or system administrator role.
Strong knowledge of Mac and PC environments, networking fundamentals, and IT best practices.
Familiarity with Logitech Rally or multi use conferencing setups.
Experience supporting remote teams and hybrid office environments.
Familiarity with IT security protocols, device management (MDM), and cloud-based systems.
Experience managing relationships with external IT vendors or MSPs is a plus.
Local and ability to work from the office on a Monday through Friday schedule.
