What are the responsibilities and job description for the Testing Technician position at HyPerComp Engineering, Inc.?
Core Job Responsibilities
- Perform testing operations including fitting assembly, instrumentation, hydro-pump operation, gas booster pump operation, leak detection, data acquisition, etc.
- Perform detailed inspections on composite, plastic, and metal parts
- Support shop maintenance activities including cleaning/ organization, facility maintenance/ improvements, and machine installation/ maintenance
- Uphold all safety standards and policies
- Support the AS9100 aerospace level quality management system
- Accurately follow work instructions, document tool and material traceability, and read/ report measurements
- As needed, assist in performing fabrication tasks including rotational molding, assembly, filament winding, composite curing, bonding, CNC router operation, test fixture fabrication, etc.
- As needed, assist in performing precision parts cleaning and cleanliness inspections
Typical Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- High proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, and machinery
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)

- Extreme attention to detail and commitment to quality, especially with regards to inspection and fabrication
- Experience following Shop Floor Work Instructions
