About Hyperion LA
Hyperion LA is a fashion-focused production company delivering high-quality content for e-commerce, fashion, tech, lifestyle, and commercial brands. Our Silver Lake studio operates at the intersection of efficiency and creativity, producing best-in-class visuals while keeping projects streamlined and on budget. We’re looking for an Associate-level Producer (or Associate Creative Producer) to be the backbone of our production team—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple projects, and brings a proactive, problem-solving mindset to every shoot.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on role, integral to both pre-production and on-set execution. You’ll be deep in the weeds on billing and wrap packets, ensuring budgets stay on track, handling crew logistics for productions of 15-30 people, and serving as the point person on set to keep everything running smoothly. Additionally, you’ll support deck creation and client-facing presentations, helping to develop creative treatments and production decks. If you’re detail-oriented, resourceful, and thrive under pressure, this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Wrap & Billing: Manage job wraps, reconcile budgets, process invoices, and track expenses across multiple projects.
- On-Set Management: Act as the main point of contact for crews of 15-30 people, ensuring smooth communication and problem-solving in real time.
- Deck & Presentation Creation: Build decks for pitches, treatments, and client presentations—strong design sensibility and attention to detail required.
- Studio & Equipment Coordination: Oversee Hyperion, Hype Rentals, and Hype Creative logistics, including gear management, scheduling, and inventory tracking.
- Call Sheets & Scheduling: Create and distribute call sheets, crew lists, and production schedules while ensuring all details are buttoned up before shoot day.
- Client & Crew Communication: Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with clients, freelancers, and vendors.
- Casting & Staffing: Coordinate freelancers, book talent, and handle negotiations for production crews.
- Logistics & Operations: Manage permits, location scouting, deliveries, pickups, and other production-related needs.
- Cost & Budget Tracking: Work closely with the Director of Production to ensure efficient budget allocation and cost-saving strategies.
Who You Are
- Production-Savvy: Experience managing productions, including budgeting, logistics, and on-set coordination.
- Deck Creation Expert: Strong eye for visuals and storytelling, with experience building clean, compelling decks for client presentations.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized: You thrive in the details and know how to keep multiple projects running smoothly.
- Proactive & Solutions-Focused: You don’t wait for problems—you anticipate them and tackle them head-on.
- Fast-Paced & Adaptable: You can pivot quickly and stay cool under pressure.
- Strong Communicator: Whether it’s with clients, crews, or internal teams, you ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in G Suite, scheduling tools, and production management software is a plus.
- Driver’s License Required: Occasional van driving for production needs.
