Summary
The IT Software Developer provides automation, customization, and enhancement to purchased software. Configures and develops custom programs for our business when purchased software does not exist or is not cost-efficient. Advises IT managers about decisions affecting purchase, lease, and use of software. Enhances operational efficiency and drives innovation within the organization. This is a hybrid position based in our Dublin, OH location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and maintains software applications to meet business needs.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement efficient, scalable solutions.
- Coordinates with all areas of IT for Change Management and necessary approvals.
- Role includes debugging, optimizing performance, and ensuring software security and compliance with industry and Hyperion MT standards.
- Remains updated on emerging technologies to improve development processes and system capabilities by making relevant recommendations.
- Completion of Change Requests as assigned. Escalates issues (resources, open decisions) to delivery / operations managers for resolution.
- Communicate with internal end users to ensure effective uses of applications. Troubleshoot in collaboration with end user to make recommendations and resolve issues.
- Documents solutions for reference
- Handling of support tickets that have been escalated for enhanced Developer support from business or IT Service Desk Team.
