Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking a Press/Urethane Operator for our Texacone location. As the elevator industry’s best in packing materials and accessories, we’re always looking for talented and self-motivated, skilled team members to add to our team. Reporting to the Press Department Coordinator, this position plays an integral part on the team by molding rubber products using our compression molding operation or molding urethane products using the cast molding operation.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Loads preformed parts into compression mold and places mold in proper position in press or mixes compound in proper proportions, pours into mold, and waits for predetermined time before placing mold in proper position in press.
- Closes press allowing for “breath” and checks for complete mold closure.
- After predetermined curing time, open press and carefully demold's part using demolding tools or equipment.
- Cleans mold for next cycle.
- Briefly inspects cured parts for obvious flaws.
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate with the Supervisor and QC Auditor on problems and solutions during the molding process. Ability to understand and interpret documents contained in the safety program and company policy and procedure manual.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

- The employee must regularly lift and/or more up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or more up to 50 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or more up to 75 pounds.
- Equipment Used in Performance of Duties: The employee is regularly required to operate several hydraulic presses and pneumatic demolding equipment while wearing eye protection. The use of lift belt, glove, and arm protectors may be required. Occasionally, the employee will operate other hand tools and machines as required.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to heat. The employee is frequently exposed to non- toxic fumes. The plant is usually open to outdoor weather conditions submitting the employee at times to extreme cold, extreme heat, and or humid conditions. The noise level in the plant is moderate.
